Job summary

Capital Medical Group is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider to join our inpatient clinical team. The APP will deliver high-quality, patient-centered care to hospitalized adults and collaborate with physicians and an interdisciplinary team.

You will participate in daily rounds, develop and modify treatment plans, coordinate with the care team, and support safe transitions of care. The position requires strong clinical judgment, effective communication, and the ability to manage multiple

Qualifications

• Graduate degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
• Current national certification appropriate to the provider's profession.
• Current or eligible licensure in the applicable jurisdiction.
• Appropriate prescriptive authority and controlled-substance registration, as required.
• Current or eligible DEA registration, as applicable.
• Ability to meet all organizational employment, occupational health, background-screening, and other applicable requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments, histories, and physical examinations.
• Evaluate and manage hospitalized patients in collaboration with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team.
• Develop, implement, and modify treatment plans based on clinical findings and patient needs.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests, laboratory studies, medications, and treatments within scope of practice.
• Participate in daily patient rounds and multidisciplinary care planning.
• Coordinate consultations and follow-up care with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
• Facilitate admissions, transfers, discharge planning, and transitions of care.
• Provide education and support to patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, medications, and follow-up care.
