District Medical Group, Inc. (DMG) seeks an inpatient Attending Psychiatrist for our adult program at Valleywise Behavioral Health Center Maryvale in Maryvale, AZ.

The role emphasizes hospital care for seriously mentally ill adults, a caseload of 10–11 patients, collaboration with a nurse practitioner, and teaching rotating medical students with potential faculty appointments at Creighton University and University of Arizona.

Formación

• Board certified or in the process of board certification.
• Arizona medical license prior to starting employment.

Responsabilidades

• Staff an inpatient adult psychiatry service with a caseload of 10–11 patients.
• Collaborate with a psychiatric nurse practitioner to coordinate patient care.
• Teach rotating medical students; potential faculty appointments at Creighton University School of Medicine in Phoenix and the University of Arizona College of Medicine in Phoenix.
