Job summary

District Medical Group seeks an Outpatient Psychiatrist for the new outpatient clinic on the Valleywise Behavioral & Mental Health Center campus in Maryvale, AZ. This full-time position supports up to 100 patients within a multidisciplinary ACT team and offers a faculty appointment with medical education opportunities.

The role includes supervision of residents, teaching medical students, and active involvement in an academic clinical environment, with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• MD, DO, or equivalent degree.
• Board Certified/Board Eligible in Psychiatry.
• Arizona medical license prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Supervision and education of residents (PGY-3 and PGY-4) in adult psychiatry.
• Teaching and mentorship of medical students.
• Active involvement in an academic clinical environment and patient-centered care.
