Job summary

District Medical Group, Inc. is seeking an inpatient Attending Psychiatrist for our adult inpatient program at Valleywise Behavioral Health Center Maryvale in Phoenix, AZ.

The ideal candidate enjoys working with hospitalized, seriously mentally ill patients with a caseload of 10–11. The position is full-time with a comprehensive benefits package, including PTO, CME allowance, paid holidays, retirement, and employer-paid malpractice.

Qualifications

• Must be board certified or in the process of board certification.
• Must possess an Arizona medical license prior to starting employment.
• Experience in inpatient adult psychiatry and teaching roles is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Staff inpatient adult psychiatry program with a caseload of 10–11 patients.
• Collaborate with psychiatric nurse practitioner.
• Teach rotating medical students; faculty appointment possible at Creighton/UA in Phoenix.

INPATIENT ADULT PSYCHIATRY

Maryvale, Arizona

District Medical Group, Inc., (DMG), a large multi-specialty faculty practice group is seeking an inpatient Attending Psychiatrist for our adult inpatient program to staff Valleywise Behavioral Health Center Maryvale. The ideal candidate must enjoy working with hospitalized, seriously mentally ill patients. Caseload is 10-11 patients and duties include collaboration with a psychiatric nurse practitioner and teaching of rotating medical students, with faculty appointment available to the Creighton University School of Medicine in Phoenix and the University of Arizona College of Medicine, both in Phoenix.

This is a full-time position with all benefits, including:
