The Mary Free Bed Rehabilitation Hospital seeks an attentive Physiatrist to provide comprehensive inpatient rehabilitation services on the Beacon Health–Borgess unit in Kalamazoo, Michigan. You will serve as the attending physician for the inpatient unit and also provide inpatient consults to other services, with a Monday–Friday schedule and weekend call.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree required and board-certified or board-eligible in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation.
• Michigan medical license or eligible license is required for practice.
• Current BLS certification is required for clinical duties.

Responsabilités

• Provides professional medical services in physiatry to inpatient rehabilitation patients.
• Maintains medical records timely and cooperates with billing, peer review and compliance.
• Oversees students, residents and mid-level providers; maintains staff privileges at hospitals.
• Leads treatment teams, participates in quality initiatives and promotes program development.
• Engages in professional education sessions and discharge planning within network hospitals.
• Promotes knowledge dissemination and a forward-looking rehabilitation program within Mary Free Bed.

State of Michigan Medical License

Current BLS Certification
