The Vines Hospital in Ocala, FL is actively seeking a board-certified or eligible Child/Adolescent Psychiatrist for an onsite, hospital-employed position in our Adolescent Inpatient Services. The role focuses on acute crisis stabilization, inpatient psychiatric care, and detox services for patients aged 12 and older.

You will join a multidisciplinary team, conduct admissions, help develop treatment plans, participate in daily team meetings, and collaborate to deliver high-quality care.

Qualifications

Position Title

Full-time Inpatient Adolescent Psychiatrist, Location: Ocala, FL. The Vines Hospital in Ocala, Florida, is actively seeking an onsite full-time BC Child/Adolescent Psychiatrist for their Adolescent Inpatient Services. Specializing in acute crisis stabilization, psychiatric care, and detox services, The Vines Hospital serves adolescents and adults struggling with addiction or mental health issues. Our programs boast a committed and expert multidisciplinary treatment team dedicated to providing the highest level of care.

Position Overview

• Employment Type: Hospital Employed Inpatient Adolescent Psychiatrist
• Schedule / Hours: Onsite Monday-Friday schedule
• Call: one night a week after hours telephone call, 14 weekend rounding
• Patient Volume: will vary, ages 12 and older
• Location: Ocala, FL
• Practice Setting: Inpatient ages 12 and older
• Support / Care Team: Multidisciplinary with BH Techs, BH RN, Psychiatric NPs, Social Workers, and Therapists

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct admission evaluations, develop treatment plans, and provide ongoing treatment follow-up for child and adolescent patients.
• Participate in daily treatment team meetings.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care.
• Complete required patient documentation and notes in accordance with facility guidelines.
