The New Mexico Behavioral Health Institute provides comprehensive care across six divisions, including inpatient psychiatric care and residential treatment. This posting is for ongoing recruitment and may close at any time.

Applicants may be screened more than once. The Adolescent Psychiatric Technician 2 will assist patients with daily living, help in crisis situations, monitor safety, and relay updates to the treatment team.

Formación

• Experience working with people who have behavioral health diagnoses.
• Experience assisting people with activities of daily living.
• Experience working in healthcare.
• Experience working in treatment teams.

Responsabilidades

• Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living, including cuing to eat, shower, and attend activities.
• Assist in crisis situations and help de-escalate patients who may be symptomatic and agitated.
• Monitor patients and ensure safety with checks up to one-to-one.
• Provide feedback to the nursing staff and treatment team regarding observed symptoms.
• Maintain a clean and comfortable environment for patients.
