Spaulding Rehabilitation Cape Cod is seeking a full-time Admissions Coordinator to welcome patients, collect information, and determine initial admission eligibility. You will review benefits, coordinate with providers and insurers, and help arrange services such as transportation as needed.

Position requires strong computer skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication. Onsite location at 311 Service Road with typical 40-hour workweek and comprehensive benefits package.

Formación

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Associate's degree Healthcare Administration or Business Administration preferred.
• Experience in hospital admissions/registration/ scheduling is 0-1 year preferred.

This is a full-time, 40-hour, onsite Admissions Coordinator role.

Responsible for both welcoming patients and collecting their personal and medical information. Helps to determine whether the patient will be admitted. Review patients' medical benefits and financial responsibility forms. May also arrange services for patients, such as transportation.

• Review and evaluate patient admission requests to ensure eligibility and appropriateness for admission.
• Documents patients personal and medical information in the system ensuring all necessary information is completed and approved prior to admission.
• Coordinate patient admissions with health care providers, insurance companies and other relevant parties.
• Verify insurance coverage and work with patients and families to resolve any issues related to insurance.
• Assist patients and families with any question or concerns related to the admissions process.

Education

High School Diploma or Equivalent required
Associate's degree Healthcare Administration - preferred or
