Job summary

Kaiser Permanente is seeking a Physical Therapist to manage inpatient rehabilitation patients in California. You will evaluate, plan, and implement therapy programs, coordinate care, and educate patients and families.

Per diem shifts require flexibility and adherence to department guidelines. The role requires completion of an accredited PT program and California licensure or licensure applicant status, plus BLS.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited PT program with a bachelor’s, master’s, or doctor of physical therapy degree.
• California PT license required at hire or license applicant status.
• National Provider Identifier required at hire.
• Basic Life Support required at hire from American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and interpret examination findings to determine dysfunction and needs.
• Establish plan of care to achieve goals based on patient age and medical history.
• Administer modalities and exercise programs as prescribed.
• Document services per state and federal requirements and guidelines.
• Discharge patients when skilled therapy is no longer necessary.
