Job summary

Lynn English High School in Lynn, MA seeks a qualified Secondary Theater Arts Teacher to lead standards-based instruction aligned with MA frameworks. The teacher will plan lessons, assess student progress, provide feedback, and collaborate with the arts supervisor and principal on curriculum.

Responsibilities include developing differentiated instruction, leading the Drama Club after school, and coordinating with families and the community.

Qualifications

• Valid MA license in Theater Arts, All Levels.
• Bachelor’s degree required.
• SEI Endorsement as needed.
• Urban experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement standards-based lessons with clear objectives.
• Provide learning experiences for students from diverse backgrounds.
• Differentiate instruction to meet all students’ needs.
• Use formal and informal assessments to monitor progress and adjust instruction.
• Create a motivating, safe, and supportive learning environment.
• Lead the Drama Club after school hours and coordinate performances.

Education

The Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education license in Theater Arts, All Levels

Bachelor’s degree
