Job summary

Trinity Basin Preparatory, Mesquite Campus in Texas, seeks a Classroom Teacher for Technology/Industrial Arts to deliver standards-based instruction and maintain a positive classroom climate under the Principal’s supervision.

The successful candidate will implement research-based strategies, differentiate instruction, and collaborate with ESL/SpEd/TAG teams to support at-risk students while aligning with district policies and procedures. This is a full-time position starting immediately.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from four year college or university.
• Must meet Highly Qualified status.
• Valid Texas Teacher certification required.
• Technology Education - Grades 6-12 or Health Science - Grades 6-12 preferred.
• ESL Certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Implements research-based instructional strategies to promote student achievement.
• Delivers differentiated instructional activities based on student knowledge and learning style.
• Plans and submits engaging, standards-based lesson plans per district guidelines.
• Maintains a classroom environment conducive to maximizing learning.
• Collaborates with ESL, SpEd, TAG, RTI staff to support at-risk students.
• Maintains data-based documentation of student performance and progress.
