Qualifications

• Knowledge of library procedures and services for school use.
• Awareness of trends in children/young adult literature.
• Ability to organize and classify library resources.
• Experience with budgeting for library resources.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a professionally operated library with a welcoming atmosphere.
• Collaborate with teachers to plan information skills curriculum.
• Promote reading and manage library resources across the school.
• Organize, catalogue, and classify electronic and print materials.
• Supervise and train staff and pupil librarians.
• Develop and implement technology plans for classroom integration.
