Job summary

Sutton Public Schools is seeking a 1.0 FTE Robotics/Engineering Teacher to join Sutton High School for the 2026-27 school year, teaching robotics and engineering to HS and MS students, aligned with Massachusetts standards, fostering inquiry, collaboration, and hands-on learning.

The successful candidate will implement district-approved curriculum, integrate technology, assess student progress, and collaborate with staff and parents.

Qualifications

• Professional verification of leadership experience in public school education.
• Five years of successful teaching experience at the applicable level.
• DESE Licensure in Physics or Robotics/Engineering (6-12) and SEI Endorsement.

Responsibilities

• Teaches district-approved curriculum.
• Meets and instructs assigned classes in the locations and at the times designated.
• Plans a program of study that meets the individual needs, interests, and abilities of the students.
• Creates a classroom environment conducive to learning and appropriate for student maturity.
• Establishes and maintains pupil-teacher relationships conducive to effective teaching and learning.
