Job summary

Vylor, based in the Des Moines metropolitan area, invites engineering students to join their 2027 Internship Program for a 6-month period. You will work with teams across mechanical, electrical, and software disciplines on innovative projects that bridge classroom learning with real-world applications.

Interns will gain meaningful, hands-on experience in robotics, 3D printing, and electronics while developing technical and professional skills for future careers in crop science technology.

Qualifications

  • Enrolled in an accredited engineering program pursuing a bachelor’s, master’s, or doctoral degree in Mechanical, Agricultural, or Industrial Engineering with at least two years of coursework completed.
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0.
  • Demonstrated experience using 3D CAD software; SolidWorks preferred.
  • Ability to work safely around common machine shop equipment.
  • Strong teamwork, collaboration, professionalism, and ethics.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team on project development.
  • Learn company research processes and technology needs.
  • Assist in discovery, design, fabrication, integration, deployment and support of engineering solutions.
  • Contribute to projects across mechanical, electrical, software domains.
