Job summary

Omni One seeks a Product Development Engineer in Columbus, Ohio to drive innovative product concepts from idea through production. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, validate, and optimize electro-mechanical products, leveraging CATIA for CAD development and collaborating with customers and stakeholders through the development lifecycle.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
Experience designing electro-mechanical or other manufactured products.
CATIA experience preferred; strong CAD skills with other tools will be considered.

Responsibilities

Research and develop innovative product concepts with emphasis on scalable, high-volume manufacturing.
Evaluate materials, technologies, and manufacturing methods to improve performance, efficiency, and cost.
Lead prototype development activities, including testing, validation, reliability analysis, and design-for-manufacturing.
Create and refine product designs using CATIA and other 2D/3D modeling tools.
Collaborate with customers and stakeholders to meet project objectives and requirements.
Communicate across cross-functional teams to foster a collaborative work environment.
Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting while ensuring quality.
