Job summary

SPX Technologies is seeking a Product Engineer Intern to contribute to real-world projects across R&D, product development, and mechanical/electrical design for electric heating solutions. You will assist in design, testing, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration to improve product performance and support leadership updates throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related discipline.
• Familiarity with CAD software (SolidWorks or AutoCAD) and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Design & Development support: assist in preparing engineering drawings, schematics, and documentation.
• Prototype builds, modifications, and testing activities with engineers.
• Support lab or field testing and record data for analysis and product improvements.
• Prepare technical reports and updates for leadership; help navigate project lifecycles from concept through testing and production.
