Job summary

Drake University College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences invites applications for a faculty position to advance teaching in PharmD and MSCP programs and to develop a fundable research program. The successful candidate will teach in core pharmacology and health sciences courses while mentoring undergraduate students and contributing to an inclusive academic community.

The position requires a Ph.D. in pharmacology or related field, with preference for post-doctoral training and teaching experience

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in pharmacology or closely related field.
• Post-doctoral training and teaching experience in physiology, pathophysiology, and the cardiovascular system.
• Post-doctoral research experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teach in the Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) and Master of Science in Clinical Psychopharmacology programs.
• Develop an ongoing, fundable research program and mentor students.
• Contribute to diversity and excellence of the academic community.
