The role focuses on qualifications of optoelectronic components, evaluating modern modulation schemes, and leading optical development projects in a multinational setting. You will contribute to research in cutting-edge optical and optoelectronic technologies and collaborate with various departments to bring innovations to market.

Qualifications

Completed degree or vocational training in telecommunications engineering, electrical engineering, physics, or a related field.
Knowledge of optical networks for high-bit-rate data transmission is an advantage.
Proficiency in German and English.

Responsibilities

Component qualification of optoelectronic transmitter and receiver components in the high-gigabit range (10 Gbit/s and higher).
Component qualification of specialized electronic components (CDR, EDC, FEC).
Evaluation and implementation of modern modulation schemes.
Research in cutting-edge optical and optoelectronic technologies with commercialization goals.
Management and execution of optical development projects.
Cross-departmental technical support.
