Qualifications

• Idaho Teacher Certification in Secondary Education with an endorsement in Science or Elementary Education and meets HQT standards, required.
• Highly Qualified Science Teacher per the standards set forth by Nampa School District, required.
• Bachelor degree required.
• Teaching or student teaching at appropriate grade level preferred.
• Two to six years of teaching experience in Middle or High School preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare for assigned classes and design lessons with appropriate difficulty.
• Employ various instructional techniques and media.
• Meet and instruct assigned classes as scheduled and provide instruction tailored to pupil needs.
• Analyze and interpret student data to develop instructional activities.
• Follow modifications and accommodations in IEPs and implement Idaho Core Standards.
• Maintain records, communicate with parents, and participate in meetings.
