BASIS Ed in the West Phoenix Metro Area is seeking a qualified Middle School Physics Teacher (SET) to deliver exceptional education by preparing and facilitating subject-specific lessons. The role emphasizes implementing the BASIS Curriculum while tailoring topics to integrate passion for physics.

Required qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in the subject or 24+ credit hours, IVP fingerprint clearance, and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in subject matter or 24+ credit hours in applicable subject matter with other degree.
• Valid Identity Verified Prints (IVP) Fingerprint Clearance Card.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and facilitate subject and grade specific lesson plans.
• Provide instruction on a higher level than grade standard in an interactive environment to achieve exceptional results.
• Implement BASIS Curriculum with creative lessons and assessments.
• Collaborate with BASIS Curriculum teachers to develop curriculum.
• Tutor students in content-specific knowledge to heighten academic trajectory.
• Manage student behavior to foster achievement, responsibility, and respect.
• Support non-instructional functions (Early Bird, Late Bird, lunch).
• Maintain regular, full attendance and supervise students.
