Job summary

Yorkville CUSD #115 is looking for a .5 FTE Middle School Language Arts Teacher to provide support for the 2026-2027 school year. The successful candidate will implement district-approved curriculum and facilitate student growth both academically and emotionally. The starting salary is $51,612, pro-rated for the part-time position. Qualifications include a Professional Educator License with endorsement for Middle School ELA and a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education or a related discipline.

Qualifications

• Certification/License: Professional Educator License (PEL).
• Prefer bilingual.
• Prior teaching experience for the appropriate grade levels is a plus.

• Develops and administers school curriculum consistent with goals.
• Promotes a safe virtual classroom environment.
• Conducts ongoing assessment of student learning.
• Ensures effective communication with students and parents.

Education

Bachelors from an accredited college or university in Elementary Education
