The incumbent will design engaging lessons, assess student progress, and collaborate with colleagues to improve curriculum while maintaining a positive, safe learning environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related area of discipline with student teaching experience or equivalent.
• Valid SC Teaching License (any applicable area).
• Current government issued identification.

Responsibilities

• Instructs students in core middle school subjects such as English, Math, Science and Social Studies.
• Designs and facilitates learning experiences aligned to state standards.
• Uses formative and summative assessments to guide instructional decisions.
• Maintains confidentiality of employee and student information.
• Collaborates with staff to evaluate curriculum and improve instruction.
• Communicates with parents and administrators about student progress and needs.
