Job summary

Amae Health is hiring a Mental Health Therapist for our Long Beach, CA clinic. You will provide individual and group therapy to adults with severe mental illness within an integrated, longitudinal care model.

Onsite supervision for limited permits is available and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team is required. We value evidence-based approaches such as CBT, DBT, or MI, strong documentation, and a patient-centered, compassionate practice.

Qualifications

• Active license in CA (Psychologist, LMSW, AMFT, or LPC).
• Thrives in a collaborative team environment.
• 1 year of experience with adults and severe mental illness (SMI).
• Experience with evidence-based interventions (CBT, DBT, MI).
• Confidentiality and documentation standards are essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group therapy to a panel of complex SMI patients.
• Offer continuous support as patients navigate recovery, in person and virtual as needed.
• Deliver evidence-based care within a holistic, wrap-around model.
• Collaborate with patient care teams to ensure integrated care.
