Job summary

Hydromat, Inc. is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to advance our precision transfer machine technology. You will create final models and assemblies, apply GD&T, and ensure geometries meet design intent using 3D modeling tools.

Qualifications

• AA in Mechanical Engineering with two years' design experience preferred.
• Strong background in manufacturing, blueprints, engineering drawings, machine and fabrication processes, weldments, sheet metal and casting designs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare final models and assemblies used for analysis.
• Modify drawings as directed by the Engineering Manager or Project Engineer.
• Work with people at all levels of the organization and travel up to 20% when required.
• Develop designs using GD&T and ensure final geometry aligns with design intent.
• Collaborate with the engineering team to support product development.
