Job summary

Qualifications

• Degree in chemical/materials science or related field.
• 3–4+ years of industrial NPD experience.
• Knowledge of materials science, adhesives, coatings, inks.

Responsibilities

• Develop labels by selecting materials, adhesives, coatings, and inks to meet end-use requirements and manufacturability targets.
• Lead lab and pilot-scale research to develop technical solutions delivering needed characteristics.
• Support the introduction of new labels into production and troubleshoot manufacturing issues.
• Collaborate with NPD and global leaders to translate VOC into technical specifications for commercialization.
• Plan technical milestones via stage-gate processes and guide cross-functional decisions.
