Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Administers and develops subject-specific assessments for student competency and growth.
• Advises parents/guardians on student progress and communicates expectations.
• Assesses student progress toward standards and provides feedback to students, parents, and administration.
• Collaborates with instructional staff, school personnel, parents, and community resources to improve student outcomes.
• Counsels students to improve performance, health, and problem-solving.
• Manages student behavior to provide a safe learning environment.
• Prepares written materials such as grades, lesson plans, and examinations.
• Reports incidents to maintain safety and comply with policies.
• Directs teacher assistants and volunteers to support classroom programs.
• Integrates technology into curriculum and pursues professional development.
