Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field; 2 years of experience in the job or related occupation.
• Experience designing parts with manufacturing methods (injection molding, machining, stamping, casting).
• Ability to produce 2D drawings and documentation for testing/inspection.
• Create processes and fixtures for assembling products in factory for development/ramp of future products.
• Experience with acoustics, sensing and system integration and development.
• Analyze mechanical parts for reliability to improve quality and cost.
• Perform failure analysis for design iteration and future products.
• Experience with CAD tools in a collaborative engineering environment.

Responsibilities

• Brainstorm concepts and solutions to complex engineering problems.
• Lead design reviews and contribute to peer design reviews.
• Develop, prototype, evaluate, and troubleshoot new designs.
• Present work for cross‑functional teams and executives.
• Generate detailed specifications and drawings; communicate with internal manufacturing and external vendors.
• Validate and characterize designs through iterations; ensure cosmetic and functional requirements are met.
