The Bay Club Company is seeking a Group Exercise Instructor to deliver creative, inviting group classes and maintain a safe learning environment while providing outstanding member service. Under the direction of the Group Fitness Director, you will offer diverse formats, engage members, and help sustain a welcoming club culture.

This role requires weekend/evening hours, current certifications, and a focus on hospitality, safety, and high-quality instruction across multiple formats to support

Qualifications

• Current Group Exercise certification with ACE, AFAA, ACSM, or equivalent specialty cert.
• Current CPR/AED certification.
• Minimum two years of group exercise or fitness teaching experience.
• Professional, friendly customer service abilities.
• Sales and Marketing knowledge for showing, promoting, and selling services.
• Strong problem anticipation and deductive reasoning skills.
• Good oral comprehension and expression.
• Computer skills: Word, Excel, and TBCC software.

Responsibilities

• Provide a wide variety of classes to a discerning fitness population.
• Ensure classes are of the highest quality of content, safety and physical challenge.
• Present innovative, entertaining and fun classes.
• Remain open and attentive to the changing fitness needs of the membership.
• Deliver an exceptional experience to members, guests and Associates.
• Communicate timely and follow up as appropriate; active participation in events, programs, meetings and training.
