Job summary

The Bay Club Company in Edmonds is seeking a Group Exercise Instructor to lead diverse classes, ensure safety, and deliver exceptional member service. Under the Group Fitness Director, you will create inviting, effective workouts and maintain a welcoming learning environment.

You'll need current group exercise certification (ACE, AFAA, ACSM or equivalent), CPR/AED, and at least two years of experience. The role requires weekend/evening shifts and a collaborative, guest-focused mindset.

Qualifications

• Current Group Exercise certification with ACE, AFAA, or ACSM.
• Current CPR/AED certification.
• Minimum two years of group exercise or fitness-related teaching experience.
• Excellent customer service and sales skills.
• Ability to work weekends and evenings.

Responsibilities

• Provide a wide variety of classes to a discerning fitness population.
• Ensure classes are of the highest quality of content, safety and physical challenge.
• Present innovative, entertaining and fun classes.
• Remain open and attentive to the changing fitness needs of the membership.
• Deliver an exceptional experience to members, guests and Associates.
• Communicate timely and follow up as appropriate.
• Active participation in events, programs, meetings and training.
• Represent the club in a professional manner through image, dress, communication, and immediate follow through and response.
• Schedule varies and may require weekend and holiday hours, days and evenings.
