Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is required.
• Alabama teaching certificate valid for the assigned grade level is required.
• Ability to meet suitability criteria under the Alabama Child Protection Act of 1999 and Act No. 2002-457.
• Proficiency in oral and written communication skills.
• Effective interpersonal skills and collaboration to maximize student achievement.
• Ability to develop and implement curriculum for designated grade level(s) and content area(s).
• Ability to use technology to communicate, plan instruction, and manage data.

• Organizes procedures and materials for effective instructional time.
• Uses ongoing assessment to monitor student progress and inform planning.

• Supervises extracurricular activities as assigned.
• Supports school improvement initiatives through active participation.
