Job summary

Charter School for Applied Technologies Buffalo NY seeks an Elementary Teacher (Flex K-5) for the 2026-27 school year. The teacher will convey knowledge engaging students using varied instructional methods and collaborate with a team for planning and assessment.

The role emphasizes differentiation, ongoing formative assessments, technology integration, and professional growth within a 10-month exempt framework. A Bachelor's in Education and strong recommendations are required.

Qualifications

• Must have completed a Bachelor in Education degree program and completed all student teaching experiences.
• Strong classroom instruction and pedagogical skills are required.
• Highly organized, independent worker with excellent oral, written and interpersonal skills.
• PLC model experience (Professional Learning Communities) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Implement school and district policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with team on curriculum and student needs.
• Differentiate instruction to accommodate diverse student populations.
• Establish and manage a classroom environment that is safe and conducive to learning.
• Develop rubrics for instruction and assessment.
• Use technology tools for instruction, planning, and communication.
• Act as a coach/mentor to other teachers on the team.
• Communicate with parents and plan for ongoing instruction.
