Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education from an accredited institution.
• Valid Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Instructional Certificate in respective grade level, and endorsements in respective subject area, OR
• Meet requirements to obtain an emergency permit and ability to consistently meet emergency permit requirements until instructional certification can be issued.

Responsibilities

• Assesses the skill level of students and aligns classroom goals and activities to standards.
• Provides instruction in respective subject area(s) and emphasizes real life applications.
• Maintains classroom discipline and attendance records; collaborates with staff to integrate skills across curriculum.
