Job summary

The University of New Hampshire – Main Campus is seeking an Early Childhood Teacher I for the UNH Laboratory School. This full-time role collaborates with classroom staff to plan, implement, and assess high-quality early childhood programs for children, families, and university students.

The position may be assigned to infant, toddler, or preschool classrooms, depending on program needs. A Bachelor's degree and NH credential are required, with a budgeted salary around $41k–$42k.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education and four years of teaching experience.
• New Hampshire Early Childhood Professional Development Credential for Early Childhood Educator.
• Strong knowledge of child development and developmentally appropriate practices for infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, and evaluate developmentally and culturally appropriate learning experiences for children.
• Observe, assess, and document children's growth and development to inform curriculum planning.
• Maintain a safe, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment; supervise staff, interns, and practicum students.
