The teacher will plan lessons, monitor progress, collaborate with staff and families, and maintain accurate records within the district's policies. 186 contracted days, exempt status.

Formación

• Valid Kentucky Certification for Teaching Exceptional Children (LBD, MSD, HI, and/or VI).
• Certification must be current and appropriate for districts in Kentucky.

Responsabilidades

• Supervise students in out-of-classroom activities during the assigned working day.
• Take all necessary and reasonable precautions to ensure the safety of students and staff.
• Ensure the educational needs of students are met and that they become independent learners and achieve their full potential.
• Establish and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships with students, colleagues, and community members.
• Develop lesson plans and provide individualized or small group instruction adapting the curriculum to each student’s needs.
