Responsibilities

• Develop and implement lesson plans that fulfill district curriculum requirements.
• Prepare lessons accommodating differences in student learning styles.
• Present subject matter according to TEA guidelines and district policies.
• Establish and maintain standards of pupil behavior.
• Evaluate and record student progress and report to parents as needed.
• Teach within the course of study for the subject area at the grade level.
• Plan lessons and provide substitutes with written plans.
• Provide varied learning experiences using different media and methods.
