Job summary

Intel in Santa Clara, CA is seeking a Development Tools Software Engineer to shape the future of software tools and flows that enhance design, development, validation and testing across engineering domains.

You will architect, design, and develop debuggers, analyzers, SDKs, IDEs, and performance tools while collaborating with cross-functional teams and external partners to deliver reliable, scalable solutions on-site.

Qualifications

Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or Computer Engineering, or Science, or other STEM-related degree and 3 years of experience.
Experience designing and implementing software tools and flows.
Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, debug, and implement software tools, flows, and methodologies for engineering and development processes
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners to capture requirements and define solution specifications
Develop and validate software solutions including debuggers, analyzers, SDKs, IDEs, and performance tools
Automate build and deployment processes to improve efficiency
Perform comprehensive testing to ensure high-quality software solutions
Provide technical direction to meet business and engineering objectives
