Master’s/PhD preferred with 3–10 years of relevant experience; fluent English; based in Greenville, NC.

Qualifications

• Master's or PhD preferred in engineering or materials science.
• Textile or yarn manufacturing experience preferred.
• 5+ years in academic or industrial setting.
• Fluent in English with strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop new Dyneema composites for outdoor applications from ideation to scale-up.
• Lead applied and fundamental research to enhance Dyneema products.
• Support troubleshooting in production with hands-on fabric knowledge.
• Identify cost- and time-efficient development strategies within regulations.
• Monitor scientific advances and build IP for the R&D team.
• Ensure safety compliance and adherence to SHE requirements.
