Job summary

Anduril Industries in North Carolina is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to support Anduril Composites. You will shape novel products from design phase to manufacturability, coordinating with Design, Quality, and Supply Chain to drive first builds and robust documentation.

The role requires 5+ years in composite manufacturing, GD&T proficiency, NX CAD/CAM, and a TS clearance eligibility. Onsite in Morrisville, NC, with leadership responsibilities and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or technology field.
• 5+ years in composite manufacturing in a development environment.
• Experience with filament winding, autoclave processing, VARTM, prepregs, hydraulic press processing.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings including GD&T.
• Onsite in Morrisville, NC; eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. TS clearance.
• Proficiency in CAD/CAM software (NX preferred).
• Experience with MS Office and/or project management software.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with technicians and engineers to design manufacturable composite parts.
• Guide manufacturability decisions early in design phase.
• Lead initial builds of composite components and tooling with cross-functional teams.
• Create and release manufacturing docs: work instructions, MBOMs, quality plans.
• Ensure proper communication between engineering data packages and technicians.
