Job summary

UC Davis invites applications for a part-time Chemistry Lecturer as part of the Schore Fellow. The candidate will teach two organic lecture courses per year, deliver lectures and labs, and adapt existing materials to enhance student learning.

Responsibilities include supervising teaching assistants, assigning grades, and incorporating feedback from students and peers. Winter and Spring quarters 2026–2027, with compensation dependent on experience.

Qualifications

• PhD in Chemistry (within last three years).
• Experience teaching college or university courses is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Instruct two organic lecture courses per year, including lectures and labs.
• Modify and create course materials; manage teaching assistants and grading.
