Qualifications

• Active and current state of Ohio teaching license in appropriate content area.
• Bachelor’s degree in education or related field.
• Experience in a growth-focused coaching environment based on frequent observations and progress monitoring.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to pass federal and state background checks.
• Experience working within an urban environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver lesson plans with the ability to modify during the school year.
• Differentiate instruction to meet diverse student needs.
• Maintain accurate records of students’ progress.
• Utilize research-based practices in planning and instruction.
• Manage student behavior in the classroom.
• Create a positive learning environment for students to thrive.
• Implement curricula reflecting diverse backgrounds.
• Communicate with families regarding student growth.
• Incorporate technology to support learning.
• Collaborate with colleagues and participate in non-instructional activities as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
