Job summary

Innovation Preparatory Academy is seeking a 2nd Grade Teacher to deliver standards-aligned instruction and to foster a positive, productive classroom environment. The teacher will develop lesson plans, maintain student records, and implement differentiated strategies to meet diverse learner needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
• Valid teaching certification as appropriate.
• 1–3 years of successful teaching experience (may include student teaching).
• Proficiency with core tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and SIS systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop lesson plans aligned with established guidelines.
• Establish rapport with students, staff, and parents.
• Motivate students to build essential skills for future success.
• Utilize differentiated instruction and diagnostic assessments.
• Prepare students for state required achievement assessments.
• Coordinate field trips and contribute to curriculum revision.
