Job summary

Charter Schools USA (CSUSA) is seeking a 2nd Grade Teacher dedicated to student greatness. You will develop lesson plans aligned with guidelines, establish rapport with students and staff, and motivate learners to build foundational skills.

You will maintain student records, collaborate with parents, and participate in ongoing curriculum improvement to support CSUSA’s educational model and mission.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and teaching certification.
• Minimum 1–3 years of successful teaching experience (may include student teaching).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and experience with a Student Information System (SIS).
• Ability to communicate effectively with students, staff, parents and administration.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement instruction aligned with established courses and school philosophy.
• Maintain accurate student records and prepare progress reports as required.
• Communicate with parents/guardians and collaborate with staff to support student growth.
• Participate in curriculum planning and instructional planning meetings.
