Renaissance Public School Academy in Mount Pleasant, MI is seeking a Full Time 1st Grade Teacher with a valid Michigan Teaching Certificate and endorsement to deliver standards-aligned instruction across literacy, math, science, and social studies.

The teacher will collaborate with families and colleagues, participate in IEP/504 meetings, integrate instructional technology, and contribute to a culture of creativity, teacher leadership, and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education or related field is required.
• Michigan teaching certificate with appropriate elementary endorsement.
• Master's degree is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver standards-aligned lessons for literacy, mathematics, science and social studies.
• Create an inclusive, positive classroom environment and build student engagement.
• Differentiated instruction to meet diverse needs and monitor progress.
• Communicate regularly with families on student progress and behavior.
• Participate in IEP/504 and other student support meetings.
• Integrate instructional technology to enhance student learning.
