Job summary

Atrium Health is seeking a Technology Transfer Specialist to support multiple projects across the enterprise. You will gather data, assess inventions, and help develop commercialization strategies within your portfolio.

You will engage with researchers and staff to identify opportunities, prepare marketing summaries, and assist licensing managers with outreach, negotiations and agreement drafting.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Biomedical Sciences or related field.
• Minimum of 1 year of related experience.
• Strong organizational and detail-oriented work style.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in technology transfer or licensing is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Gathers data and analyzes inventions to assess commercialization potential.
• Engages with researchers to identify and evaluate new inventions and business opportunities.
• maintains portfolio records in enterprise databases (e.g., Sophia).
• Develops marketing summaries and identifies licensing partners for outreach.
• Assists licensing managers with contact, negotiation, and drafting of agreements.
• Prepares materials for outreach sessions on IP reporting, protection, and licensing.
