U.S. Bank is seeking an Innovation Specialist to identify and commercialize new growth opportunities across the enterprise. You will blend customer research, product management, venture building, and financial analysis to uncover what’s next and guide investment decisions.

The role covers discovery, validation, prototyping, and collaboration with legal, risk, marketing, and engineering teams to accelerate pilots and scale successful concepts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and business-case development capabilities.
• Experience conducting customer research and translating insights into action.
• Excellent written, verbal, facilitation, and presentation skills.
• Ability to influence outcomes across complex stakeholder environments.
• Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in ambiguity and uncertainty.

Responsibilities

• Discover unmet customer needs, emerging trends, and technology opportunities.
• Lead opportunities through the Emerging Products lifecycle (Explore, Discover, Validate, Accelerate).
• Build learning plans and evidence-based validation strategies.
• Design experiments to test desirability, feasibility, viability, and readiness.
• Develop value propositions, business models, pricing, and commercialization approaches.
