Job summary

Trystar Inc. is seeking an Innovation Sourcing Manager to join Research, Development and Engineering in Minnesota.

You will source partners, parts, and processes for new power-product ideas, supporting prototype through production readiness and collaborating with Engineering, Quality, Operations, and Product Management. The role emphasizes supplier discovery, RFQs, qualification, and cost/lead-time targets to deliver innovative hardware at scale.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in technical sourcing, strategic sourcing, or product development sourcing.
• Experience collaborating with Engineering, Quality, and Operations on manufacturability and cost.
• Negotiation of pricing, terms, and supplier agreements including NDAs.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new suppliers and technologies for prototype to production readiness.
• Lead RFQs, qualification, source selection, and commercial negotiations to meet cost/lead-time targets.
• Document and manage sourcing strategies with regular status updates for cross-functional teams.
