Innovation Lead

Job Locations: US-VA-Ft. Belvoir

Overview

Amyx is seeking to hire an Innovation Lead to support the Enterprise Cloud Management Agency (ECMA). The ideal candidate will bring continuous improvement and innovation to the Army, with experience leading enterprise-level IT systems, cloud development, and sustainment for the Federal government. This includes inter-connected IT system transitions, modernizations, acquisitions, and transformations. Hands-on experience in roles such as software engineering, development, sustainment, IT modernization, or IT project management is essential.

Responsibilities

  1. Serve as a software development expert for complex cloud-native products, including MCTT.
  2. Provide high-level functional systems analysis, design, integration, documentation, and implementation.
  3. Offer in-depth technical and management knowledge in areas such as systems and software, hardware, protocols, networks, applications, security, testing, and customer support.
  4. Participate in all phases of the systems lifecycle, emphasizing planning, analysis, design, development, testing, integration, support, documentation, quality control, and risk management.
  5. Provide guidance on implementing microservices, containers, and orchestration tools like Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift.
  6. Advise on implementing CI/CD pipelines across various cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, Oracle Cloud, and GCP.
  7. Guide the implementation of infrastructure automation tools like CloudFormation, Ansible, Chef, Puppet, ARM Templates, and Terraform.
  8. Support the deployment of cloud security scanning and monitoring tools.
  9. Communicate accurate technical information effectively.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, IT, engineering, or related field.
  • Must obtain a Top Secret clearance prior to starting.
  • Certifications: Azure Fundamentals, AI, PMI-ACP, PMP.
  • Minimum one year of experience in AI/Gen AI engagement at DoD or similar agencies.
  • 10+ years of experience delivering cloud systems for DoD or Intelligence Community.
  • 7-10 years of hands-on experience in software engineering, development, sustainment, modernization, or project management.
