Ameren invites an Innovation Intern to join the Innovation Implementation and Strategy team in a fast-paced environment. The role focuses on AI/Robotics and IT/OT software/hardware development, supporting cross-functional projects and research aligned with forward-thinking initiatives.

The candidate will assist in requirements creation, testing tools, and delivering reports on project progress, while collaborating with engineers and scientists. Compensation is hourly within $21–$30.

Qualifications

• Full-time student at an accredited university.
• Completion of 40 college credit hours toward a BS preferred.
• GPA 3.5+ preferred.
• Junior/Senior/Master/PhD with research/work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Research and develop AI/Robotics, IT/OT software/hardware solutions as directed by business needs.
• Research and test advanced modeling tools for company adoption.
• Assist software/hardware development and support by creating requirements.
• Design software/hardware components to meet business needs.
• Provide technical assistance to developmental projects.
• Create and deliver reports and presentations of project results.
