Job summary

Amazon Logistics is seeking a Senior Innovation Engineer to lead the Automation Engineering team and drive end-to-end product delivery for AMZL delivery stations. You will own the roadmap, influence senior leaders, and manage large-scale, high-value programs across multiple geographies.

You will orchestrate pilots, vendor integrations, and system-wide automation initiatives in NA, building and guiding a team of engineers to ensure timely deployments that meet Amazon standards.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of new hardware product development experience.
• 7+ years of engineering team management experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Experience in DFx (cost, test, manufacturing).
• Experience with the project management of technical projects.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.

Responsibilities

• Initiate, define, plan and lead pilots in the field for new automation and robotics technologies.
• Lead field pilots end-to-end with Operations and other stakeholders.
• Identify new programs to onboard and integrate.
• Lead the execution of the product with discipline and cross-functional teams.
• Build roadmaps for bringing in vendor-developed technologies to pilot.
• Lead the system integration pillar for NA projects with integrators.
• Build a team of engineers to lead the function in NA.
