Univar Solutions in Houston is seeking an Innovation Chemist to drive new skincare and personal care formulations from concept to customer presentation. You will translate trends into market-ready products by partnering with suppliers and applying specialized ingredients in targeted applications.

You’ll conduct customized testing, develop advanced formulations, and prototype products while working with Marketing, Product Managers, and Sales to propel customer projects forward.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or related field required.
• 1–3 years of scientist/formulator experience in a laboratory setting.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and collaborate with distant teams.

Responsabilités

• Develop new consumer products or formulations from concept to customer presentation.
• Create product prototypes to demonstrate ingredient function for sales.
• Organize comparative studies and material benchmarking with cross-functional teams.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Product Managers and Sales Managers.
• Present new products at industry tradeshows and digital platforms.
• Visit customers with sales/marketing/product teams to foster new business.
